Chxrry formerly known as the artist Chxrry22 The "22" in Chxrry22's name was directly linked to her signing with XO Records in 2022 As she developed as an artist, Chxrry felt that the "22" no longer accurately represented her current stage of musical and personal growth. Born and raised in Toronto, Chxrry's passion for music traces back to her childhood when she sang at birthday parties and weddings, following the footsteps of her parents, who both sang in a choir.
