I the brilliant green sono una rock band giapponese formata nel 1997, ed incidono per la Sony Music Entertainment Japan. I the brilliant green hanno grandi influenze da parte della musica occidentale, in particolare dai Beatles, tanto che molte loro canzoni hanno il testo in inglese. Nel 1998 presero una pausa, dopo il loro terzo singolo "There Will Be Love There", che fu scelto per la theme song di un Drama giapponese ("Love Again"), che fu al top delle classifiche musicali giapponesi.
