The Workday Release was formed in 2009 by singer/songwriter David Ottestad. David grew up playing music every Sunday at his home church in Orange County, CA and played drums for local bands in high school. In 2009, while attending his first year of college, he created The Workday Release and began writing and recording his own original music leading to the release of his first record "To the Beginning".
