The Thrills è una indie rock band irlandese formatasi nel 2001 a Dublino. La band è formata dal cantante Conor Deasy, dal chitarrista Daniel Ryan, dal chitarrista e bassista Pádraic McMahon, dal pianista Kevin Horan e dal batterista Ben Carrigan. Il successo giunse in seguito alla pubblicazione del loro album di debutto, 'So Much for the City', che nel giro di pochissimo tempo scalò le classifiche irlandesi. Molte canzoni del loro album (come 'One Horse Town') vennero ideate durante un viaggio/vacanza che la band fece a Santa Cruz
