I Search The City sono una band formatasi nel 2006 proveniente da Detroit, Michigan, USA. Il gruppo ha realizzato indipendentemente un EP intitolato Ghosts, per poi firmare con la Tooth and Nail Records, grazie alla quale è uscito il disco di debutto: A Fire So Big The Heavens Can See It. La line up della band comprende Josh Frost alla voce, Alex Sheldon e Jim Czech alle chitarre, Eli Clark al basso e Adam McMillion alla batteria.
