Revis was a post-grunge rock band from Carbondale, IL. They released one successful major label album before disbanding in 2005. The group began playing in early 2000 in southern Illinois using the name Orco. Original group members are from the towns of Benton, Illinois and East Peoria, Illinois. They moved to Los Angeles in July 2001 and began playing venues, which eventually caught the attention of record labels. In January of 2002, the band signed with Epic Records and started working on their first album at NRG Recording in North Hollywood.
