Peter Baumann (born 29 January 1953 in Berlin ) is a German electronic musician and music publishers . As a member of the electronic music group Tangerine Dream , he wrote an important chapter in German rock history. His synthesizer sound experiments were groundbreaking for the electronic rock music of the 1980s. Peter Baumann's first solo album was recorded in 1976 , the music contained on it it was based heavily on the line of the Tangerine Dream sound.
