Otto Dix is a russian darkwave [1] [2] music trio. Named after the expressionist painter of the same name, they are notable for their androgynous singer, believed to be a male or a female contralto, countertenor. After 6 years of being the band became one of the most famous Russian gothic acts. For the German market Otto Dix, currently under contract with Danse Macabre Records, a label owned by the German Das Ich act [3].
