La one man band Nargaroth nasce nel lontano 1989, ad opera della geniale e controversa mente di Kanwulf. La carriera musicale di Nargaroth comincia nel 1991 con la registrazione del primo demo “Orke” contenente sette tracce interamente strumentali poiché Kanwulf non disponeva delle apparecchiature necessarie per registrare le vocals.
