Mike Doughty (6 giugno 1970) è un cantante e cantauore americano. Nel 1992 fonda i Soul Coughing di cui è il leader fino al 2000 anno in cui la band si scioglie. Intraprende quindi la carriera solista, girando inizialmente con un'auto affittata per eseguire shows acustici. Fonda la Mike Doughty's Band assieme a Dan Chen (keyboard and synthesizer), Pete McNeal (drums), e Andrew Livingston (upright bass). Nell'estate del 2006 Dan Chen lascia il gruppo ed è sostituito da John Kirby.
