I Melotron sono un gruppo futurepop e synthpop della Germania. Nel 1996 Andy Krueger, Edgar Slatnow e Kay Hildebrandt lasciarono il loro gruppo precedente, The Vermin, per formare i Melotron. La band ottenne immediato successo con il primo singolo, Dein Meister, nel ’98. Fino al 2007, i Melotron erano una band con testi solo in tedesco; però nell’ultimo disco Propaganda, Broken è completamente in inglese.
