Johnny Hates Jazz è una pop band inglese formata nel 1986 da Clark Datchler (voce, piano), Calvin Hayes (tastiere), e il tedesco Mike Nocito (basso). Chiamati così da un'amico a cui realmente non piaceva il jazz, Johnny Hates Jazz realizzarono il loro primo singolo con la RAK Records nel 1986.
