James Newton Howard

James Newton Howard (Los Angeles, 9 giugno 1951) è un compositore statunitense, autore di numerose colonne sonore cinematografiche come quella per il film su Peter Pan del 2003. Ha collaborato più volte con il regista M. Night Shyamalan nei film Il sesto senso, Unbreakable, Signs e The Village. Anche l'ultima fatica cinematografica di questo regista (Lady in the Water) ha musiche firmate da J.N.H. Ha composto anche il tema principale della serie televisiva E.R. - Medici in prima linea.
