Jack Leroy “Jackie” Wilson Jr. (Detroit, 9 giugno 1934 – Mount Holly, 21 gennaio 1984) è stato un cantante statunitense soprannominato “Mister Excitement”. Wilson è stato importante durante la transizione dal rhythm and blues al soul. Ha acquisito fama in giovane età nel gruppo vocale Billy Ward and His Dominoes ed ha iniziato la carriera da solista nel 1957 producendo oltre 50 singoli di successo spaziando tra rhythm and blues, pop, soul, doo-wap ed easy listening.
