Idaho è una rock band formatasi nel 1991 a Los Angeles, California, composta dalla coppia di compagni di scuola Jeff Martin e John K. Berry. Questi furono scritturati per la Caroline Records nel Dicembre 1992 da Brian Long, e rilasciarono The Palms EP ed il disco Year After Year nel 1993. Sono spesso comparati agli American Music Club ed ai Red House Painters per affinità nel cantato, nei testi e la strumentazione. Hanno compiuto un tour degli Stati Uniti con artisti loro affini come Red House Painters
