Forest Of Shadows was formed in 1997 by Niclas Frohagen, and was initially intended to be a solo-project. When he found a loyal companion in Micce Andersson in 1998, thoughts of forming a full band arose, which happened. But many times the line-up changed in the 2 following years, and eventually the band turned into the initial one man formation. By then 2 demos and 2 promos had been released, and a deal with Rage Of Achilles was signed to re-release the second demo 'When Dreams Turn To Dust' as a mCD.
