The Fat Boys erano composti da: * Mark "Prince Markie Dee" Morales * Damon "Kool Rock-Ski" Wimbley * Darren "The Human Beat Box" Robinson Inizialmente conosciuti come The Disco 3 (The Disco Three), i Fat Boys iniziano a farsi conoscere nel 1983 vincendo un talent show presso Radio City Music Hall di New York. Il primo premio era un contratto discografico.
