I Crash Test Dummies, anche noti come Dummies, sono un gruppo musicale canadese folk-rock originario di Winnipeg (la città più grande della provincia federale del Manitoba), formatosi nel 1989 e popolare negli anni ’90. L’origine del gruppo, in molti sensi, è legata alla storia dei nightspot Spectrum Cabaret e Blue Note Cafe, posseduti da Curtis Riddel.
