Canned Heat

I Canned Heat sono fra i pochi gruppi 'bianchi' a suonare del blues negli anni '70. Il gruppo si forma nel 1965, composto da Alan Wilson (chitarra, voce), Bob Hite, detto The Bear (voce, armonica) e Henry Vestine (chitarra). Nel 1967 la band si fa conoscere al Festival di Monterey e incide Canned Heat. Nel 1968, con Boogie with the Canned Heat, accoglie nell’organico il batterista Adolfo De La Parra, detto Fito. Poi arrivano i successi di On the Road Again e Going Up the Country
