Nati nel 1994 in Finlandia, i Behexen fanno parte degli esponenti del più satanico true black metal e, per ora, sono tra i gruppi più famosi in ambito underground, soprattutto grazie alla pubblicazione di Rituale Satanum nel 2000, disco che ha portato a "nuova" vita il satanismo. Il gruppo ruota attorno alle figure di Torog, cantante, e Horns, batterista, che, insieme al chitarrista Reaper, sono nelle file di tale gruppo dalla sua nascita. Reaper però se ne andò nel 1998
