Alyssa Reid (born March 15, 1993) is a Canadian singer and songwriter born in Edmonton, Alberta. Her debut television appearance was on the television show Party Mamas. She currently lives in Brampton, Ontario, a suburb in the Greater Toronto Area. She attended the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School, then transferred to Chinguacousy Secondary School. She first appeared on Canadian TV show The Next Star on YTV. There, she wrote the song "Gonna Make You Dance", but lost to contestant Dunnery Bond.
