Mamaleek, مماليك, plural of mamluk, مملوك, is an Arabic designation for slaves. The term is most commonly used to refer to Non-Muslim slave soldiers and Muslim rulers of slave origin most famously the Mamluk dynasty of late medieval period Egypt. Although most members' identities are anonymous, it is known that the band includes two brothers. Band member Eric Alan Livingston died on March 6, 2023, at the age of 38.
