Born and raised in New York, 21-year-old Lee Carr had to overcome many personal and professional hurdles before finally landing on solid ground. Life’s experience has shaped this young artist, dealing with the early death of his beloved father Kenneth Mickey - singer/rapper/producer, and growing up in the NYC foster care system from the age of two, “I’ve had all kinds of bad experiences in my younger days,” Lee honestly admits. “I was in the foster care system and various group homes for years.
