Kitchens of Distinction (sometimes shortened colloquially to KOD) were a three-person alternative rock band formed in Tooting, South London, England, active from 1986 to 1996. Members : - Patrick Fitzgerald (b. 7 April 1964, Basel, Switzerland) - vocals, bass guitar - Julian Swales (b. 23 March 1964, Monmouthshire, United Kingdom) - guitar, vocals (occasionally) - Daniel Goodwin (b. 22 July 1964, Salamanca, Spain) - drums, percussion
