Derrick Dewayne Hill, better known by his stage name Kingpin Skinny Pimp, or simply Skinny Pimp, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, known for his fast delivery. Raised in North Memphis, Skinny Pimp began his career in 1985 while attending Herman Junior High School. He first started rapping alongside DJ Squeeky and his crew, and rose to significance when he began working with Three 6 Mafia after the group formed its own record label, Prophet Entertainment
