Barnt is one third of Magazine, the label/depot/archive that "has caused quite a stir with its taut and precise yet richly complex output" (Add Void, London) since it was set up in 2010. Also being a core member of the collective Cologne Tape (other members include Crato, Jens-Uwe Beyer, Jörg Burger, The Field, Philipp Janzen of Von Spar et al.), Barnt is a key figure in the musical output of the label. His debut EP "What Is A Number, That A Man May Know It?" from 2010 became an instant modern kosmische classic.
