7 Year Bitch

7 Year Bitch était un groupe punk rock/grunge exclusivement féminin, formé à Seattle en 1990. Their career yielded three albums, and was impacted by the heroin overdose-death of their guitarist Stefanie Sargeant and the brutal rape and murder of close friend Mia Zapata of Seattle punk band The Gits. Although their fierce sound and the subject matter of a few of their lyrics led some in the press to identify them as part of the riot grrrl movement centered in nearby Olympia, Washington, they always rejected the connection.
