Oi! band formada en Sunderland desde 1979 hasta 1984. la formación original es: Steve (vocals), Tony (guitarra), Gaz Stuart (bajo) and Dona (bateria). posteriormente Red Alert fué inspiración para otras bandas como: Angelic Upstarts, The Press, Red London, Hard Skin or Banda Bassotti. Reformados en 1990 Red Alert hasta la actualidad.
