Mamaleek are two brothers from San Francisco, playing a unique style of post-black metal. Nearly all of their songs are named after spirituals from North America's slavery era, and some of them are straight-up rearrangements or adaptations. Their foundation is in black metal, but over the course of their three albums, they've incorporated shoegaze, noise, jazz, and world fusion into their sonic palette.
