About
xenoton is German electronica artist Matthias Reinwarth's attempt to blend electronic music from the 1970's, 1980's and early 1990's with current ambient and experimental sounds and with the energy found in expressionist music from the first half of the twentieth century. The result is the unusual, alternately relaxing, alternately thrilling synthesizer sound. Mattias Reinwarth also is the founder of the on-line label tonatom netculture, where all of xenoton's work can be downloaded legally (since they release under a Creative Commons License).
