Yaniss Odua

Yaniss Odua was born in Martinique in 1985 and starts getting involved with music at the age of 10. in 1992, at age 13, he released his first albun "Little Yaniss". In 1998, Yaniss moves to Paris. In 2001, he released his first single "La caraïbe" which foreshadowed his future album released in 2002 "Yon Pa Yon". From the French newspaper Liberation review, this album is "the French reggae record that comes closest to the current dancehall trend with titles such as "Long Time" or "On Your Mark"".
