White Rune is a Finnish melodic black metal duo formed in 2021 by Ruttokieli (vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards) and Soldau (drums), both also known for their work in Sielunvihollinen. Drawing inspiration from the grand traditions of Finnish black metal, White Rune combines icy melodies, triumphant keyboard arrangements, and relentless aggression with themes of death, Satanism, war, vampirism, and pagan mysticism.
