"Like so many bands toiling away in South Jersey, the Vanities tend to fly under the hipster radar. This is actually their fourth full-length, and far and away the bands most accomplished work yet. The Vanities mix elements of glam, grunge, and post-punk with sonic experimentalism akin to Mike Pattons post-Faith No More bands. While the bands capable of a straight-ahead raunch rocker like Tilt, much of Coma Kiss finds the band experimenting with atonal chord changes
