Terrell Morris channels introspection to make his music. The Toronto-native is a self-taught songwriter, poet, singer and bass player who believes versatility of craft allows him to sharpen his skills, much like his favourite artists Raphael Saadiq, Erykah Badu and Jay-Z . With his first project, Molasses, Morris combined jazz and R&B to craft his sound, but his latest album, Lavender, set to drop in summer 2020, was one that he looked to soul for guidance.
