TankHead a.k.a. Automaton is a producer from Denver, CO by way of Texas. While in college, Tank made a mark in the Minneapolis Hip Hop scene as a part of Death Ray Scientific. While a part of the collective, TankHead formed a group with his childhood friend and fellow producer Smash Atoms. After a few different names, a few years in the oven, the two emerged as Strange Matter. As a part of Strange Matter, TankHead co-produced the album "Picking Flowers Next to Roadkill" by Kristoff Krane.
