Sunshine Christo is a rapper from New England that has ties to Granada, Nicaragua. Christo's music is purposely fastened and pitched so that it could sound like nightcore. Their songs usually range between one to two minutes as a result of this technique. Christo started releasing music when they were seventeen years old during the pandemic. They claimed that the reason they started speeding up their music was because, "My natural voice didn't sound right rapping and the beats sound better fast.
