Sunforger is an independent rock band based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Known for their tightly wound, jittery sound, the group blends elements of post-grunge, emo, math rock, and post-punk into what DIY circles frequently describe as "fast slowcore" or "controlled chaos". The band originally formed under the name Mono No Aware.
