Shiga Lin has been in the entertainment industry since she was young, starring in some TV dramas and posing as a teen model. In 2010, her management agency got her a record deal with Warner Music Hong Kong. She then released her first EP with Warner and shot a few movies, mainly about night life and clubbing. She rose to fame in 2012 when the lyric video of her song "It Stops Here" became viral. She has since released a number of moody sad songs which are all about breaking up.
