Seals & Crofts were an American soft rock duo formed in 1969 in Los Angeles, California, by Jim Seals and Dash Crofts. They are best known for the singles "Summer Breeze" (1972), "Diamond Girl" (1973), and "Get Closer" (1976), each of which reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. Both members were adherents of the Baháʼí Faith and incorporated elements of the religion into their music and public appearances. The duo disbanded in 1981, reunited from 1989 to 1992, and again in 2004, when they released their final album "Traces".
