Sarah Whatmore, 21.9.1981, Salford. Rose to fame in the first series of the British television show Pop Idol. Simon Fuller signed her to RCA Records including a world wide management deal with 19 Entertainment. But manufactured pop is the antithesis of Sarah’s soulful creative expression. She became a truly visionary songwriting nomad, collaborating with various artists around the world, experimenting with eclectic styles and sounds, and ultimately developing a rich and unique territory beyond genre.
