Ryan Davis has featured prominently on a lot of records by Louisville (and in his case, southern Indiana) bands in the 2010s and into the 2020s. Davis led the rock band State Champion through four albums, and had a stint in Tropical Trash (in which he sang and played bass). His time with the group is captured on their 2014 album, UFO Rot, as well as other releases of the period. In 2023, Davis released his first solo record Dancing On The Edge using the name
