Rumi Shishido (宍戸留美) is a seiyuu, independent recording artist, cameraman, illustrator, media personality and a former J-pop singer from Hiroshima, Japan. She is born on 6 November 1973, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Rumi released her first single on 21 May 1990. Her final release as a J-pop artist was on 22 April 1996. In 1989, Shishido was selected as the winner of a contest hosted by Lotte's and appeared on their television commercial in the following year.
