About

Rīgas Modes is a Latvian rock band from Ogre, Latvia. The band made their first anticipated public debut as a warm-up act for Brooklyn's indie-rockers DIIV at the Palladium Riga concert hall in 2012. Prominent music critics have deemed them to be the "Latvian Pulp" and one of the most original Latvian bands of 2013. The self-titled debut album Rīgas Modes EP was released in May 2014. Current members: Kalvis Bormanis - lead vocals; Reinis Papulis - guitars, keyboards;
