“Rising from Grand Rapids is one of Michigan's fastest-growing indie acts: Pretoria has been pumping out one sunny, heartfelt track after another. Founded by Josh Bilisko (guitar), Rob Gullett (bass/lead vocals), and Ben DeWitt (drums), the group began as a three-piece punk band in 2018. After their archived self-titled EP (2018), the group began writing in a more mellow, indie-rock tone for which they are now known. In March of 2019, Matt Burdick (guitar) joined the band as they worked on the release of their EP
