Her music is primarily associated with indie folk and incorporates acoustic instrumentation, electronic production, and introspective lyrical themes. She has received multiple Grammy Awards and nominations throughout her career. Bridgers began performing music at a young age and was involved in several bands during her teenage years, including Sloppy Jane.
