Niña Polaca is a Spanish alternative rock and indie pop band formed in Madrid in 2018. The group was founded by Álvaro Surma and Alberto Rojo, who met as neighbors in the Malasaña neighborhood. The band's name, which translates to "Polish Girl," was chosen after a road trip to Poland. Their music is characterized by a mix of catchy pop, garage rock, and pure rock energy, with sharp and ironic lyrics. The band quickly gained a following with their energetic live shows in Madrid's small venues and at festivals.
