Monstrosity is an American death metal band formed in 1990 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as part of the Florida death metal scene. The founding members were drummer Lee Harrison, bassist Mark Van Erp, and vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. Harrison has remained the only constant member, with Edwin Webb serving as the current vocalist and Van Erp rejoining the band in 2021 after leaving in 1995. Monstrosity released their debut album "Imperial Doom" in 1992 through Nuclear Blast
