Marina Herlop, born Marina Hernández López, is a Catalan experimental musician. She is a conservatory-trained composer, vocalist, and pianist who began her career by interpreting compositions from Debussy and Chopin with a contemporary approach, influenced by the Romantic era. Her first album, "Nanook," was heavily influenced by her classical training. For her second album, "Babasha," she started to incorporate synthesizers and electronic sounds.
