Kettcar is a German indie rock band based in Hamburg. The band was formed in 2001 and has released five studio albums. Their fourth album, "Zwischen den Runden", was released in 2012, followed by their fifth album, "Ich vs. Wir", in October 2017. The band name is derived from the Kettcar, a ride-on toy produced by Kettler since 1962. The band was founded by Marcus Wiebusch of ...But Alive and bassist Reimer Bustorff, both of whom had also been members of the ska band Rantanplan.
