Born in Prince George’s County, Maryland, now residing in Conyers (an Atlanta suburb) and Los Angeles, KILJ (born Jelani Lofton) had first hopped on the music scene in early 2019 at the age of 14. Making music inspired by artists such as Juice WRLD, Lil Mosey, Halsey, etc. He’s part of the "new wave" of teen musicians as he is 18 years old as early 2022. Like many others, the young artist made his start on SoundCloud as KILJ and released his debut single Black Hole in late-June followed by 95 with sadtaylor at the beginning of July
